The Boys creator reveals bloody title of Season 4 final episode
Eric Kripke returns to the director’s chair. On Saturday afternoon, the showrunner behind Prime Video’s The Boys not only revealed the title of the show’s Season 4 finale, but also confirmed that he’ll be directing the episode.
Titled “Assassination Run,” the script was written by Jessica Chou and David Reed, alumni of the R-rated comic book series. It’s not the first time Kripke has directed a TV show. Over the course of 15 years of Supernatural, another show he created, the writer has gotten directing credits on a couple of episodes.
Judging by the title of the finale, things won’t end very well for at least one of the politically focused characters in the show’s ensemble. As teased in the season three finale, Robert Singer (Jim Beaver) is running for president and chooses Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) as his running mate. Given Neuman’s connections to Vought and the world’s supers.
Really, the only sure thing in the next season of The Boys is that it will crossover with Gen V in some shape or form.
