The Callisto Protocol finally has a New Game Plus – Latest News

The Callisto Protocol shortly before the release of the rival Dead Space remake received an update that brings the game New Game Plus and also contains various fixes.

It’s a minor surprise, the mode was originally announced for 2/7/2023. Anyway, with New Game Plus you can embark on a second adventure. You will keep all weapons, upgrades and credits, so you can continue to upgrade your gear and enjoy more bloody slaughter, as not everything can be upgraded or crafted on the first playthrough. Equipment will be restored on the first Reforge.

Based on player feedback developers from Striking Distance studio have fixed issues, bugs and improved optimization. Among other things, you should no longer get a trophy/achievement for completing the game on the highest difficulty if you switch it before the very end of the story.

A number of camera setup issues have also been fixed, Jacob should no longer sink to the ground, and cabinets, shelves and other items should be displayed consistently in high contrast mode.

Other corrections apply optimizing graphics performance on all platformsfixes for volume level issues in various languages, and some minor issues that often plagued the PC version.

The Callisto Protocol was released last December on PC and both generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Especially on PCs, the game was plagued with all kinds of problems, bugs and bad optimization, which made players not buy the new survival horror from the former author of Dead Space as much and of the publishing company Krafton se did not return the investment.
