We still have to be patient for about two months before we can go into space infested with monsters. None other than Dead Space creator Glen Schofield takes us on an action-packed and hopefully spooky journey in The Callisto Protocol. Now he has revealed how much time we have to plan for it.
That’s how long you need for The Callisto Protocol
In the run-up to Christmas, we can shoot down nasty space monsters in Callisto Protocol or have them chopped up by fans – according to Striking Distance CEO Schofield for around 12 to 14 hours.
He revealed that to EDGE magazine (via mp1st.com). It’s probably all about the main story. Schofield also explained that if you find every cool weapon and want to get the most out of it, you’ll keep it busy longer.
“Beta Paths”: In addition, Schofield has teased a certain replay value that should result from “beta paths”, as he calls them. They should also encourage players to talk about the different paths they took to complete the story.
In the new trailer you can also see one of the main characters, played by Karen Fukuhara. You may know her as Kimiko from The Boys series:

For comparison: For the pure main stories of the Dead Space series, players need an average of 9 to 12 hours. This is evident from the entries on howlongtobeat.com. In the other categories, the playing times are of course a little longer.
How did you rate the playing time? Or would you have wished for something else?
