The creators of the latest Crash Bandicoot ask Sony to make a movie of the character
On June 20 it goes on sale Crash Team Rumblea new game of the popular character created by Naughty Dog, which this time will be a game of multiplayer action, as we told you in our impressions. On the occasion of the closed beta celebration during this weekend, Toys For Bobcreators of the game, have shown the intro, a colorful cinematic sequence, and have also made a curious suggestion: that Sony Pictures Animation make an animated film of the character.

Sony making a movie of a Microsoft character?
As Toys For Bob, the studio in charge of the latest games of the character (Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time), has said that “With Plumber Boy’s incredible film career, we think it’s time for Crash’s theatrical debut!”making reference to the enormous success of the film of Super Mario Bros.and citing the account of Sony Pictures Animationthe studio responsible for the successful Spider-Man: A New Universewhose sequel opens this June.
The curious thing about this petition is that if in the coming days and weeks the corresponding regulatory bodies approve the purchase of Activision Blizzard, Crash Bandicoot will become a Microsoft characterso it would be less strange that a Sony animation studio made this movie, and more after the loud brawl that Xbox and PlayStation have starred in recent monthswith Sony trying by all means to prevent Microsoft from closing the operation, the largest in the history of video games.

Crash Team Rumble be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on June 20, and as we have told you in our impressions “we had a great time playing thanks to a very title agile, accessible and fun, which offers more depth than it may appear at first. Doubts remain about its evolution, the different game modes and how it will compete in a market where it seems that this type of proposal has to be free to playbut at least we can say that the base has the potential to offer many hours of fun with friends and enemies.”
