The Fortnite Champion Series 2023 starts in February with a new major format – Esports Extras.
the Fortnite Champions Series (FNCS) returns this year with a new “Major” format, a total prize pool of $10 million, and an FNCS Global Championship presence event. The FNCS Major 1 already starts on February 02, 2023.
FNCS Global Championship 2023 in Denmark
According to the current plan, the FNCS Global Championship 2023 LAN tournament will be hosted in Copenhagen, Denmark. The top 75 duos from around the world will be competing for a share of the $4 million prize pool.
New FNCS 2023 Format: The FNCS Majors
FNCS will return in a duo format this year. At the end of each weekly FNCS Major 1 competition, series points will be awarded to each participating duo based on performance and results. The top 40 duos who accumulate the most points in the Series Ladder over a three-week period advance to the FNCS Major 1 Grand Finals.
The FNCS Major 1 Grand Finals will be held in March 2023. The duos with the most points on their respective FNCS Major 1 Grand Finals leaderboard will win a portion of the $2 million prize pool. At the same time, the best from each region will advance to the 2023 FNCS Global Championship.
FNCS 2023 transmissions
The FNCS Majors will be broadcast across multiple platforms this year. Fans can watch the FNCS in-game at Legend’s Landing (island code: 3303-7480-5925), via the official FNCS live stream, or through one of the links provided here. Anyone who wants to create their own Watch Party can do so via the Clean Feed.
