The Game of Fourtune – Alice in Borderland Inspired Visual Novel Demo Now Available on Steam – Esports Extras.

Everything is at stake when sixteen people find themselves locked in a sick and twisted goddess game of life and death. The Game of Fourtune is a visual novel that will make players reconsider their choices while helping Clyde and Devon literally fight for their lives. Although the two protagonists arrive together, in this twisted game they might find themselves separated and fighting for themselves. After all, it’s about survival of the fittest. Those who survive all four rounds will get a wish granted. The Game of Fourtune will ask players how many people they are willing to hurt in order to emerge victorious. A free demo is now available on Steam, offering nearly four hours of gameplay and allowing players to experience the first of the 16 original routes.

Inspired by the Netflix original series Alice in Borderland, The Game of Fourtune is set in a complex world run by the Digits of Eden, an underground criminal organization. The game requires players to fight, scheme and outwit each other to survive a god’s deadly game. The Game of Fourtune features multiple routes, scenarios, and choices that help the player learn about each of the 16 characters. Getting to know each character reveals the reasons for their participation in the game and helps players solve the mystery behind the Digits of Eden.

Players take control of either Clyde Raveron or Devon Rhodes, both of whom are best friends. Clyde is a sarcastic dishwasher at a local pizza joint. He is an intelligent young man who has recently had bad luck. He takes part in the game of Fourtune to help his sick mother. Devon, who cooks at the same pizzeria, makes up for her best friend with her positivity. Devon only joins the game because Clyde needs a partner.
