Saint Seiya either Knights of the Zodiac, as it is better known in Latin America, was one of the three pillars of ‘anime’ in our region. Beside dragonball and super champions (Captain Tsubasa). This other-era series raised an entire generation aware of the goddess Athena and hers her bronze knights, who return whenever the forces of evil resurface in the world. Now you can relive the beginning of Knights of the Zodiac free on YouTube thanks to Toei Animation.
For the new movie, The Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya – The Beginningthe studio made available the first seven episodes of the original 1986 ‘anime’. These are dubbed in Latin USAand are the same versions available on Crunchyroll. But free and without YouTube guidelines, or well, only with one that is the trailer of the live action movie of Knights of the Zodiac. Episodes include his iconic intro of ‘Pegasus Fantasy’ and the ending from ‘Blue Forever.’
The episodes cover Seiya’s training until he obtained the Pegasus armor and later the Galactic Tournament, until the arrival of the Phoenix knight and the theft of the Sagittarius armor. The live action movie provides a new origin to this story but the knights of Pegasus and Phoenix retain their roles as rivals. According to the official Twitter account of Toei Animation Latam, the episodes will be available for a limited time.
