The Last of Us: Left Behind victim of “review bombing” because “it is woken”

Those of us who have been lucky enough to see the entire first season of The Last of Us already knew that two episodes were going to receive a lot of attention from a certain audience. The controversy came shortly after Episode 3 became available in January, and now it’s the turn of the highly anticipated second reaction.

The seventh episode of The Last of Us, appropriately named left behind (if you’ve played the game, you know what it’s about), it was available Sunday night in the US, and seeing another gay romance has once again sparked a ton of negative user reviews on Metacritic. While a relatively small number of them are somewhat fair and share some of my complaints, a significant portion of them sure like to use the word “woke” a lot… Is it a good sEsports Extrasthat the latter are still seeing it?
