With The Last of Us Part 1 Just under a week ago, the extensive remake of the survival horror hit from 2013 for the PS5 appeared. Even if the asking price gives cause for criticism, the technically flawless implementation is convincing across the board. In our test Let’s take a closer look at the strengths and weaknesses of the game.
The developers at Naughty Dog have managed to capture the spirit of the original and technically transfer it to the year 2022. Especially at the lighting and the animations there are clear improvements, while little changes to the basic gameplay. A small, unobtrusive adjustment is causing a stir on the internet.
The Last of Us Part 1: hints at new game?
on Twitter a few screenshots from the remake have surfaced showing an in-game corkboard. The images placed there are new and were in the versions for PS3 and PS4 not included yet. Naughty Dog has announced in advance that there are many small changes that should make the environments of “The Last of Us Part 1” look more believable, but there could be more behind it.
Fans see more than just new details in the excerpts. Rather, they assume that Naughty Dog here could give clues to a future game. There have been rumors for some time that a new IP of the studio in one fantasy setting could play.
You can see one in the pictures, which are well hidden and can only be found with a flashlight fire-breathing dragona flying Pegasus and various characters who medieval clothing and weapons wear.
The theories become more believable when you consider that Naughty Dog have hidden such hints in their games in the past. In Uncharted 3 there was also concept art and a daily newspaper in which one mysterious fungal infection was spoken. Shortly thereafter, “The Last of Us” was introduced.
