Original message: The Last of Us is actually getting a remake. It was leaked before the Summer Game Fest show last night, but was officially announced there. So the PS3 and PS4 game comes out for PS5 and PC. It was developed from scratch and looks a whole lot better than in the remaster. The Last of Us Part 1: Remake tweaks the graphics properly
The TLOU Remake is coming: The reports and leaks were, unsurprisingly, actually true. Anyone who was still in doubt got the confirmation last night. Naughty Dog is not only working on a The Last of Us multiplayer title, but also on the remake of the first part. It’s called The Last of Us Part 1 and it’ll be out pretty soon. The Last of Us Remake trailer reveals the remastered version for PS5
It changes: A whole lot, and not just in terms of graphics. As was revealed yesterday, the AI should also be adjusted, for example. Cutscenes are now real-time and no longer pre-rendered. In addition, the original motion capture recordings of the actors from the first part were used again, only this time with better results. It looks so much better: The graphics should probably be the focus of The Last of Us Part 1 remake. This time the developers have opted for a much more realistic look. This is achieved through more pores, better lighting, more beautiful textures and much more. This is particularly evident in direct comparison to the somewhat stylized depiction of the original.
