If a few days ago we knew the new release date of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Naughty Dog has now announced that The Last of Us Part I will not arrive until March 28 on PC. In this way, there is a slight delay of only 25 days. However, the developer wanted the reasons that led to the decision.

As explained by the study, the last few weeks have been quite a surprise to see the overwhelming success of the HBO series, which it has made them realize the possible flood of players who will want to try the PC adaptation. “That’s why we want to make sure The Last of Us Part I’s debut on PC goes as smoothly as possible. While the series is increasing its viewer numbers week by week, the PS4 and PS5 games are also returning to high sales, which makes it easy to foresee a successful launch in the series’ debut on PC. The Last of Us and its jump to PC

While The Last of Us Part I was released in September 2022 on PS5, the title will jump to PC in March 2023, being cheaper on PC. The title was released as a total overhaul of the original experience, faithfully reproduced but incorporating modernized gameplay mechanics, improved controls, and expanded accessibility options. To do this, Naughty Dog completely recreated the game using the latest technology from its graphics engine for PS5 with advanced visual fidelity.
