The producers of 007 have not yet begun to look for the new James Bond

There have been a lot of rumors and reports about who the next James Bond will be after Daniel Craig hung up the super spy banner. But, despite these rumors, the producer of the 007 series, Barbara Broccoli, has referred to the matter and has announced that the team has not yet started casting for the role.

Speaking to LADBible, when asked who the next Bond will be, Broccoli stated:

“We haven’t started the casting yet.”

For those wondering if there is at least one script or idea for the next Bond movie, Broccoli also closed it by adding: “There isn’t even a script.”

It’s a bit disappointing, but at least this puts to rest the rumors about who will take over the name 007 for a while.
