Although its launch was surrounded by other powerful titles, the game has carved a niche…
Square Enix has won the hearts of many with Triangle Strategy. We are talking about a tactical RPG signed by Tomoya Asano, producer of two jewels like Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler, and who has known how to climb to the top as an essential for role-playing fans. Now, after 7 months of exclusivity with Nintendo for its hybrid console, Triangle Strategy announces PC release date.
A somewhat timid announcement for one of the most important and beautiful role-playing bets of this 2022 and that is that the Japanese have left the date somewhat hidden in today’s Nintendo Direct. Be that as it may, and regardless of Square Enix’s decision, the RPG will arrive on PC on October 13 like a pitch exclusive within Steam.
We speak, as we have commented before, of a must for all fans of role-playing games and, especially, for those who are looking for a spirit and a particular artistic touch. In fact, the esthetic save a lot similarity with that Octopath Traveler where Asano acted as producer together with Masashi Takahashi, director of this other essential good role HD-2D.
Strategic turn-based combat, branching narrative which varies depending on your decisions at key moments in the story; all this together more than 30 characters that you can control to fight are some of the highlights of this title from the binomial formed by Square Enix and Artdink in the creation of this work.
At the moment, and despite having a release date on PC, the Square Enix team still has not opened the official website of the game on Steam. We are talking about a “minor” release commercially speaking, so we will have to wait to be able to reserve it and check the requirements of our PC. Something that, of course, we anticipate will not scare many since we are facing an RPG that bets everything on the visual and is far from being the worst nightmare of our hardware.
