The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a starting price of 1,399 euros

samsung has seen the prices of its entire family of Galaxy S23 devices leak, including the Galaxy S23 Ultra, its new flagship. Depending on the model purchased, we are talking about a starting price of 959 eurosup to 1,589 euros for the most advanced version.

It should be remembered that these devices will be announced next February 1stand the filtered prices were those of the USAand German markets. In USA the prices will be slightly highersince in Germany this price range will be between 949 and 1,579 euros. In essence, 10 euros cheaper. Luckily, it is not like in the hardware market, where the differences are wider.

These are the prices of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 for USA

The lowest price belongs to Samsung Galaxy S23, specifically in its simplest mode with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Above, the Galaxy S23+ (Plus) starts at 1,209 euros with 256 GB of internal storage. With the same configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of capacity, the S23 Ultra for 1,409 euros.

Each of these models has an additional variant that double the storage capacity. In the case of the S23 Ultra, the RAM also goes from 8 to 12 GB.

As we can see, Samsung has also increased the price of its devices. As an example, the Galaxy S22 Ultra went on sale at a recommended price of €1,259. Now we talk about €1,409, a price increase of 150 euros. Despite this, it is still less than the €1,469 in which part the iPhone 14 Pro Max with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Other things being equal, with 256 GB, its price is €1,599.

Focusing on the S23 Ultra

This one will flaunt the SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line SoC. What’s more, it will be present in all the devices of the series with at least 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM memory. This SoC is expected to live on a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel of 6.8 inches with a resolution of 3,088 x 1,440 pixels at 120 Hz with a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits. This will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 laminate.

The section where it will sweep the competition is the photographic one. It will bring a configuration of quad rear camera with a 200 megapixel ISOCELL HP2 main sensor. This is accompanied by a periscope-shaped telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom (10MP). We have another telephoto lens and an ultra-wide angle of 10 and 12 MP respectively. As a selfie camera a 12 MP sensor, and all this would be powered by a battery of 5,000mAh capacity. It seems that it will not boast of ultra-fast charging, since it would settle for a charge of 45W.

If we add to this an IP68 chassis (water and dust resistant), the Galaxy S23 Ultra is a good flagship compared to what Apple offers for that price.
