Netflix has confirmed the production of this film for 2024. Doug Cockle, voice of Geralt in the video games, will reprise his iconic role. This film marks an expected return to the universe of The Witcher before the arrival of a new Geralt in season 4. This announcement was made in October 2022, where Cavill confirmed that he would be leaving the series and Hemsworth would be replacing him.
