The Yu-Gi-Oh! will be held in august
konami has announced the return to the physical format of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship, where the best duelists will face off over two days at the Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) in Japan.
The tournament interrupted its face-to-face model due to the pandemic with the last edition in 2019, but the time has come to resume the competition in person and, furthermore, expand it by adding the world tournaments of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links (the mobile title) and new this year, the first Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, and that brings the franchise closer to the eSports format.
All those duelists who wish to can compete in the Yu-Gi-Oh! WCS 2023 Qualifiers for a chance to access the final championship. These ranking series will begin on May 16, while the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links will do so on May 30.
The final qualifying stages for the Yu-Gi-Oh! WCS 2023 from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG will take place this summer, with duelists previously ranked in championships in Europe and Oceania. The Yu-Gi-Oh! European Championship is confirmed to take place from June 30 to July 2 at the Jaarbeurs exhibition center in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
