Elden Ring

This Elden Ring mod lets you play RPG with Dungeons & Dragons classes

Since its launch in February, Elden Ring has become one of the most relevant video games of the entire generation. Conquering tens of millions of people, this has attracted an incredibly healthy modding community, and today it’s time to talk about one of its coolest new features: Rings of Talent, which allows you to create real classes inspired by Dungeons & Dragons.

But what do I mean by classes if there is already this type of content in the game? Well, in Elden Ring (and the other FromSoftware games), classes are just your character’s starting equipment and base stats, having no effect on anything else in the game at all. Rings of Talent seeks go much further.

By equipping a specific ring, you will be able to adopt any of the classes that the game offers you, and each one will have both its strengths (more strength, buffs to magic, being harder to detect…), like his weaknesses (less magic resistance or HP penalties, for example). The classes that are currently available are Assassin, Barbarian, Mage, Monk, Paladin, Cleric, Ranger, Magic Swordsman, Swashbuckler, Tank, and Vampire.

Its creator warns that this mod is designed to be played mainly as a complement to Elden Ring Reforged, another project that seeks balance many of the mechanics of the game, as well as animations and statistics. You can enjoy Rings of Talent on its own, but it’s not the ideal experience. It also warns that it is balanced around the game’s multiplayer, which you can enjoy without limits thanks to yet another mod.

If you want to download Rings of Talent, all you have to do is go to their NexusMods page. Its installation requires Elden Mod Loader, a very easy-to-use tool that, precisely, helps a lot with the correct installation of mods. Now you will be able to enjoy Elden Ring from a different way.
