Apart from its amazing bosses and deep lore, one of the most important things about Elden Ring is precisely its huge world. Personally, exploring it has been one of the best things that I have done in a long time within video games, and the modders want to give us a new perspective for it.
Luke Ross, known for creating virtual reality mod for a variety of games (such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Horizon Zero Dawn) he’s working on bringing the action of FromSoftware’s action RPG to the first person. Looking back at the other mods of this creator, we can expect a great result for this new project.
“This will probably be a project in progress for quite some time, but I’ll do my best to have the first playable version by the end of next week.” comments the mod maker in a post on his Patreon. While you wait, you can check out the sneak peek we have at the news.
One of the things that stands out is how well transferred it is the game interface, becoming one more element that fits perfectly into this new perspective. There’s a lot yet to be seen from this adaptation, but expectations are high.
Total, that throughout this week we will be able to have a playable version of the mod. Luke Ross has not yet said what he wants to focus on to make his first edition playable, but it is logical to expect that there is a lot to improve. Surely, the modder spends a lot of time perfecting what can be one of the the most important projects of his career as a VR creator.
