THQ Nordic will hold a digital event on August 12 with new games

THQ Nordicthe European publisher and developer in charge of sagas such as Darksiders, Destroy All Humans! and titan questcelebrate a digital event this summer, where there will be no E3 2022 either in person or online. The THQ Nordic Dogital Showcasereport from Gematsuwill be celebrated August 12 at 21:00 USApeninsular time. It will be broadcast on YouTube, Twitch and Steam.

The appointment, they explain in the description of the YouTube trailer, will serve to announce new gameyes, “expanding the company’s catalog to new genres with [ttulos] licensed and original gaming experiences“, of which “hints” will be given before the event. “But you can expect everything from the intense, dark and raw to the light, colorful and simply fun”, they explain.

Among the games shown in the trailer, two surprises stand out that the publisher’s tenth anniversary event left last year: Outcast 2: A New Beginning and Jagged Alliance 3. The firm also has planned, without a specific date, other titles of the stature of Destroy All Humans! 2: Failed, Knights of Honor II: Sovereign, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake and that goth remake they are doing from THQ Nordic Barcelona. Also, there are rumors of a new Darksiders.

Before the main event there will also be a issue dedicated to the independent game publisher Handy Gamesresponsible for the USAtitles ending and scarf (the latter already available in early access), and others to come such as A Rat’s Quest: The Way Back Home and DE-EXIT – Eternal Matterers.

A summer without E3, but with Summer Game Fest
