Twitch streamer plays brave hero in Elden Ring but flees the room screaming in RL
The hard-hitting action RPG Elden ring challenges players with hearty boss fights. But as confidently as a streamer fought the boss, he reacted in panic to an actually harmless event in real life. Read here why a Streame suddenly fled the room screaming in panic.
Who is the person you are talking about? Streamer Charles “MoistCr1TiKal” White Jr. lives in Florida and is busy streaming the popular action RPG Elden Ring. In it he was in the process of thrashing the boss Commander Niall.
He had beaten the monster down quite a bit and only one final blow was missing. But then something happened that shook the poor streamer to the core.

What happened then? Stoic and composed, the steamer beat up the boss, nothing could stop him. But then he suddenly began to scream shrill and panicky. He backed away from the screen and eventually stood, barely visible, at the edge of the camera angle. What happened?
Shortly thereafter the answer came: “Oh no, not now! There’s a wasp! Fuck! Not like that, not like that!”
In fact, the pesky bugs appear to be active in Florida already, and an early specimen had apparently gained access to the MoistCr1TiKal streaming room. There the creature buzzed around and put the poor streamer in a panic. Apparently he was afraid of an insect bite.
Nevertheless, he couldn’t give up the victory over the boss that he believed to be certain and despite the massive distraction caused by the wasp, MoistCr1TiKal was still able to kill the boss with a courageous jump attack. But even before the boss hit the ground lifeless, MoistCr1TiKal had already darted out of the room, in which the insect continued to turn its circles.
How did it go? A little later, the streamer came back and explained that wasps would scare him to death and that he would probably regularly panic when the buzzing pests appeared.
Luckily things turned out well and MoistCr1TiKal was not bitten by the insect. In the end, however, the streamer showed humor and also called the clip “Invaded Mid Boss Fight”.
This is a nod to the idiosyncratic PvP system in Elden Ring and other “Souls” games. There, foreEsports Extrasplayers can cheekily gain access to your game and ambush and knock you out.
So much for the unusual invasion of pesky insect critters during tricky boss fights in the Elden Ring. But even without such unusual “Hardmode Challenges” by real animals, Elden Ring is a tough game that demands everything from you.
