Ubisoft Forward returns in the summer with two releases in July and September, Skull and Bones is finally announced!

Ubisoft has passed on all the “Non-E3” events and Summer Game Fest, but not because they don’t have games to show, but because they just want to do it their way.

The best equivalent to your “E3 conference” will be the event Ubisoft Forwardwhich has been confirmed for on September 10, 2022.

But before this week, Thursday July 7there will be an exclusive presentation of Skull & Bones, one of his most anticipated games for the coming months, which finally comes to the fore after a development full of complications.

East Thursday July 7 at 20:00 CEST (USApeninsular time) we will have the first “Ubisoft Forward Spotlight“, a presentation focused solely on Skull and Bones, their open world multiplayer pirate game inspired by the golden age of piracy, in the Indian Ocean.

It will be a bit longer than last week’s Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope showcase, where there will be gameplay, an explanation of the game, and interviews with the developers. They will have to measure their words well, because this game has had a most problematic development.

You can watch this presentation of Skull and Bones (officially abandoning its previous nomenclature, Skull & Bones, with which it was presented at E3 2017) on YouTube and Twitch.

The presentation you are most likely looking forward to will not take place until on Saturday September 10 at 21:00 CESTwhen “Ubisoft Forward comes back with a bang.”

In this showcase totally focused on the digital public (such as a Nintendo Direct or State of Play) they will talk about multiple games and projects from the Ubisoft teams around the world.

We can expect more news about games already announced and planned for the coming months, such as Skull and Bones, Mario + Rabbids 2, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, but also new announcements.

According to an insider, Ubisoft is working on projects like a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising or a new Prince of Persia game, oblivious to the remake. The Assassin’s Creed saga will also continue, although it will have its own presentation in the same month of September, “where they will announce their future.”
