Ubisoft has just released a free demo of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and the first DLC (downloadable content) for the game, which introduces new gameplay mechanics. The title is available worldwide exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
In the new free demo, players will be able to play the entire prologue of the game and a portion of the first planet, which together offer about two hours of experience. The content allows users to explore Beacon Beach, unlock various secrets, and fight enemies corrupted by Darkmess. To access the free trial, users simply connect to Nintendo eShop and download the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope demo.
From now on, players can also explore The Tower of Doooom, the first DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, which is exclusively available to users with access to the Season Pass. In this content, Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends enter a mysterious tower and find the peculiar landlady Madame Bwahstrella, who needs help to hold off Cursa’s minions and scale the Tower to free her old friend Spawny.
Featuring a new combat-focused gameplay, the DLC offers players a battle path to the top of the tower after which the content is named. Initially, with four heroes and Sparks randomly drawn from the full roster of the main game, players will need to build and upgrade their team along the journey, devise strategies and adapt their tactics if they are to succeed against all odds.
In The Tower of Doom, the end is only the beginning, and players who achieve it will unlock new expeditions with increasing difficulty levels and a variety of rewards as well. Designed for both beginners and tactical enthusiasts, the gameplay adds a layer of strategy to the gameplay of the main title and a lot of fun.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch in two editions: Standard and Gold. Tower of Doooom mode can be accessed through the main menu for players who own Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and the Season Pass, or can be purchased as part of the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition.
