Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the association of Atlus and Vanillawarehave announced a new fantasy tactical role-playing game called Unicorn Overlord. It will be an adventure in which we will fight alongside allies in magnificent environments with high-definition graphics, expansive world exploration and innovative tactical battle gameplay, for which the studio behind Odin Sphere, Dragon’s Crown, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is known.
Unicorn Overlord is set in a vibrant world and will be a timeless tactical strategy experience. It will include a unique battle system and online battle modes for modern audiences. According to history, it is set on the continent of Fevrith, a world dominated by five nations: Cornia, Drakenhold, Elheim, Bastorias and Albion. Not only humans live here, but other fantastic races such as elves, angels and Bestrales (beastmen).
The protagonist is Alain, the prince of Cornia who was the object of a conspiracy that forced him to leave his home. Other characters such as Scarlet, Lex, Illenia, among others, will join.
We can recruit up to 60 unique characters of all races. You can roam the map freely and we will encounter enemies along the way. They will have three difficulty levels ranging from Sweet, normal and Hard. There will be online mode to participate in PvP battles against other players.
Unicorn Overlord will launch on March 8 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
