VALORANT: Riot Games Introduces VCT Format for 2023 – Esports Extras.

Riot Games today announced the first details, new events and the format of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023 before.

To celebrate the start of the season, each team selected for partnership will be invited to Sao Paulo, Brazil to compete in the largest international tournament in the history of the VCT to participate. In future seasons there will always be two international league splits, but for 2023 it will be limited to one international tournament split to allow teams ample time to acclimate to their respective regions.

The second international tournament of the year, the masters, returns in June and will feature the best teams from each international league. The event will provide the best teams from each region with a direct qualifier for the Championsthe finale of VALORANTWorld Cup, reward. The “Last Chance” qualifying rounds will then take place again in July.
