vin diesel has confirmed that fast x will be divided

Speaking at CinemaCon, Vin Diesel announced that Fast X will tie into a second follow-up film, set for release in 2025.

Diesel said:

“This summer is just the beginning of Fast X.

“And with all of your effort and with all of your love and the fact that you are part of our family, Fast X will continue.

“And after this explosive summer, I will have the privilege to return with you for the second part in 2025.”

Fast X is rumored to bring the Fast & Furious franchise as we know it to a close in its tenth and eleventh installments, with the conclusion of the main plot centering around Diesel’s character of Dominic Toretto.

Diesel continues:

“Fast is now the longest running franchise in movie history… with the same actors playing the same characters.

“This is our family, the audience is our family, and as we moved towards this achievement we attracted directors who brought their own magic to the saga.

“I’m proud to say that for nearly two decades Fast’s films have been the most successful of any of our directors.”

You’ll be able to catch all the action from the fast-paced battle between families against Jason Momoa’s Dominic Reyes when Fast X opens in theaters on May 19. It’s warming up engines…
