The fans of the Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are surely familiar with The Last Ronin either the last ronin, a recent comic book saga that shows an alternate future in which only one of the four turtles survived and seeks revenge for what happened to his family. In an interview with Polygon, Doug Rosen —Senior Vice President of Games and Emerging Media at Paramount Global— spoke about his intentions to turn this series into a video game. He said that it will be played in the third person “in the style of god of war»and that it will have a single protagonist who will use the weapons of the four ninja turtles, although we could control his brothers in ‘flashbacks’.
If the RPG game of TMNT: The Last Ronin (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin) comes true, there are still many years to go before it is ready. Rosen explained that it will be a AAA game and that they are still looking for the studio to handle its development. That means the project is still in a very early phase of production.
