Diablo 5 shouldn’t keep his fans in suspense for so long.
Diablo 3 fans had to wait more than ten years, with Diablo 4 it took another decade. But Diablo 5 appears after a shorter wait. At least that’s what Blizzard promises and that should make the many fans of the action RPG very happy. After all, the two latest games in the series show that there is an unbroken interest. But there is another possible reason.
Diablo 5 appears after a shorter wait, praised Blizzard President Mike Ybarra
Diablo 5 is safe: As sure as amen in the creepy Diablo Church. But that’s not the only good news we can deliver here. Especially since it shouldn’t be a big surprise that after the blockbuster success of Diablo 4, another sequel is to appear.
When is Diablo 5 coming? It might take quite a while. After all, Diablo 4 has just been released and Season 1 is in full swing. In addition, Blizzard President Mike Ybarra also promises a lot for Diablo 4 and beyond. Since a larger expansion has also been released for Diablo 2 and 3, one should come again this time.
Not as long as before: What is certain, however, is that Blizzard doesn’t want to make us wait as long until the next part of the Hack’n Slay series as was the case between the last parts. The waiting time for Diablo 3 and 4 each amounted to (over) a decade and the fans shouldn’t be expected to do that again:
“You won’t have to wait that long between titles going forward. We’ve got a lot coming your way in Diablo 4 and beyond!”
thanks @DMC_Ryan – we’re glad you liked it. And going forward, you won’t have to wait so long between titles. We have a lot more coming to Diablo 4 and beyond!

This could be the reason:
Unbroken interest: Blizzard sees from the reactions to Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4 that there is still a huge fan interest in the franchise. Even after such a long wait. Accordingly, there should be great interest in getting the money from these fans.
Activision Blizzard Acquisition: If Microsoft really buys Blizzard as well, that could also affect the development cycles of the Diablo games. After all, such a Diablo would do very well in the Game Pass and Microsoft is probably interested in not letting the series and the associated income rest for ten years again.
How soon would you like to have the next Diablo? Are you still well taken care of or could you already use part 5?
