There are dozens of survival games out there and more in the works. It’s easy to lose track of things. MeinMMO helps you to find the right title for you from the currently biggest titles.
What are these games? We have selected some survival titles for you here, which we count among the best survival games for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. In the list you will find a mixture of all possible sub-genres and settings.
It was important to us that the games have an active player community. That’s why we limited our selection to games with many players, for example on Steam. So you can play with other people if you want to.
In order to keep the mix more diverse, we have not only selected the largest games, but also included one or two tips. So maybe even as a veteran you will discover a title here that you didn’t have on your radar yet.

Everything and everyone is an enemy: RUST is considered one of the toughest and most unfair survival games ever. Everything and everyone wants to kill you. Basically, you shouldn’t trust other players, because everyone fights for the last bit of scrap to somehow stay alive.
Myth of Empires
Power fantasies in ancient China: As a nameless player, you make your way through the forests and mountains of a world based on Far Eastern mythology. Get stronger, learn how to use dozens of weapons and create your own dynasty to defend against other empires. Or go conquer yourself…
Dying Light 2
Greed for power leads to doom: military research has unleashed a super virus and wiped out almost all of humanity. You are also infected, but survived. Still. Find your sister and, along the way, look for antidotes to the plague and redistribute power among the last surviving humans.
Conan Exiles
Survival for the toughest: For your crimes you will be crucified and left to die in the desert. Conan the barbarian himself frees you and leaves you to the heat. Was that really mercy or just the longer way to die?h

Blizzard, the makers of World of Warcraft, are now also working on a survival game. That seems to be a lot further than it sounds, but a release date is still missing.
Nightingale is also interesting with its unique setting. If you like Victorian style and group play, this title should be particularly exciting for you. The game is scheduled to start testing in 2022
