Wild Hearts hunts down its problems in TOP CPUs with a patch
Contrary to what happened to Atomic Heart, luck and criticism have been mixed with its great rival for sales at this time, Wild Hearts. With two completely different themes, as well as two extreme performances, the first has managed to wow people, while the second has struggled to maintain FPS, especially on very fast computers, which has infuriated many. Fortunately, this new patch for Wild Hearts solves many of the issues of performance and fixes other bugs that have been found.
Many problems of various kinds for a title that intends to deal with Monster Hunter and its respective expansions, but luckily the game by Koei and Omega Force distributed by EA now seems to put everything in place for those players who flew into a rage when they saw the ultimate performance.
Wild Hearts, the patch that fixes performance issues is coming
The notes are very extensive and the number of errors is quite significant, so without further ado we are going to list them:
- Fixed an issue where certain CPU high end were being involuntarily limited. High-end PCs should see some performance improvements now.
- Fixed an issue where some sounds would not play or be delayed, causing audio to pile up. This problem of ‘audio stacking‘ was also causing CPU issues. As a result of this fix, players should see performance improvements across the board. The workaround you use 5.1/7.1 audio it is no longer needed on PC.
- The default resolution setting is now 16:9 in 1080p for the first boot. The recommended specification for WILD HEARTS is aligned with a 16:9 display and 1080p; for new users, this will now be the default setting. You can change this setting to the resolution of your choice in-game.
- Fixed rendering issue (Disco lights) when using an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
- Fixed an issue on the save/load screen that could result in corrupt save data.
Consoles will have to wait a bit longer.
Given that the main problems of the game were occurring on PC due to its greater disparity of components and possible configurations, it was to be expected that the first to receive the patches would be us. Instead, the consoles also have to face their respective correction patches, something that Omega Force already has in mind and we could say that it is almost ready.
And it is that, according to the development team itself, the planning of its corresponding corrections for the game are scheduled for next weekboth in PS5 like in Xbox Series X and Series S. Although the patch will be much lighter as reported, mainly because the consoles are only affected by two of the mentioned bugs: audio problems and data corruption.
So if all goes well and the patches that have already been released for PC work as they should, in just 7 days they will also reach the console in order to complete the campaEsports Extrasof this game in the average time stipulated, being able to save the game without issues.
