Wild Hearts unleashes the ire of PC gamers and already has 70% negative reviews on Steam

Wild Hearts is Koei Tecmo and Electronic Arts’ commitment to the hunting genre, an ambitious title that comes to face one of the most powerful sagas in gaming history. Having arrived yesterday, there was a lot to talk about for fans of the genre, but on PC the conversation has gone in another direction: one full of criticism and negative reviews on Steam.

And it is that, despite the fact that the title had a early access via EA Play, it wasn’t until Thursday that the great masses were able to try out the new Monster Hunter competitor. The reception on other platforms has been good, and in our review of Esports Extras we talked about pretty good of him. Unfortunately, PC gamers are not having a good experience with this port.

If we go to the Wild Hearts Steam page, we can find that the vast majority of comments are negativeand they all have a common denominator: PC performance is not good. With frame drops, micro-crashes and also bugs, the version of our platform does not live up to the expectations of the players.

Of course, not only Electronic Arts has not been slow to address the matter, but the biggest problem with the port, which seems to be a bottleneck in the performance of the processor, is already being solved by the developers. Just yesterday, the Wild Hearts team released a statement saying that a patch would fix the issue, and they plan to take it out next week.

Still, public discontent it is not solved with promises, but with facts, and we will have to wait until next week to see if the game goes back. For now, we are left with a premiere marred by problems that have disappointed more than one hunter.
