Some shrines in Tears of the Kingdom have a positive surprise in store.
The Mystery Shrines are among the best and most popular pursuits in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Anyone who cracks the built-in puzzles and/or fights can not only find items in chests, but is also rewarded with a blessing light that can be used to upgrade life energy or the endurance bar.
Some of these shrines are pretty tricky. And still others have no real challenge at all. Instead, they willingly give away their treasures.
What shrines are they? To the “Raurus” blessing” shrines. There are no puzzles or fights here, just a straight path that leads first to an item chest and then to the Blessing Light Altar – all against a very distinctive background of swirling greenish lights.
So they’re pretty “laid back” shrines – and that’s what a lot of fans appreciate about them. On Reddit, for example, there are numerous comments that describe Raurus shrines as “satisfactory” – sometimes even garnished with a corresponding meme.

There is also criticism of the Raurus blessing shrines
So the Raurus blessing shrines definitely have a fan base. However, there are also some who can’t get anything out of the “challenge-free” mini-dungeons. The main thing is their number. Many are bothered that there are too many of these shrines. Indeed they are almost a third of all 152 shrines in the game.

On the other hand, others argue that the Raurus blessing shrines usually require a certain amount of effort in the overworld beforehand, which is comparatively challenging. The shrines would then be a reward for those efforts.
