Xbox Series Next Gen and PS6, here’s what to expect, codename and more
The renowned youtuber RedGamingTech has shared his analysis on the possible specifications of the next consoles from Sony and Microsoft, as well as the midgen versions of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Based on the latest advances from Tom Henderson and rumors about the specifications of these platforms, RGT has used the latest technological evolutions of AMD hardware to observe the possible improvements in performance and management efficiency.
RGT believes that the hardware architecture of the next generation of Sony and Microsoft consoles would be based entirely on RDNA 3, with Zen 4 and a dedicated Deep Learning chiplet. This would allow more efficient management of technologies such as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution and Ray Tracing. According to the youtuber, the medium versions of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as the next generation of consoles, will take advantage of AMD’s latest technological solutions to significantly improve their performance.
This would be the new “Xbox Sabin” and PlayStation 6
In terms of raw power, RGT believes that the new approach taken by the designers of both companies should translate into performance advantages that are difficult to quantify in numerical terms. That is, its performance should not be measured in terms of Teraflops, as in the case of the battle between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
deep learning:This technology is being used by video game developers to improve the user experience, creating increasingly realistic virtual characters and more detailed interactive environments. Additionally, Deep Learning is being used to improve artificial intelligence in games, allowing non-playable characters (NPCs) to act more intelligently and realistically.
Although it is not yet known if their theories will come true, what is clear is that both companies are working on significantly improving the performance and efficiency of their consoles to provide the best possible gaming experience for users.
