Yes, Sonic Superstars uses the same physics as Sonic Mania
On the web we share its initial announcement and also statements about why it doesn’t look like New Super Mario Bros. Now we get more information about the expected Sonic Superstars. We have a curious fact!
Apparently SEGA has incorporated the physics from Sonic Mania into Sonic Superstars, transforming it into modern 3D but sharing the base physics. It has been confirmed by Christian Whiteheadthe director of Sonic Mania.
The fans have celebrated this news, as this is very important in terms of accuracy. You can see it below:
