You have authentic Star Wars legends at ridiculous prices on PC to play while Jedi Survivor is under repair

Star Wars Day is celebrated on May 4, at the rate of an original play on words (May the 4th / may the force) but the guys from Humble have decided to go ahead a few days and kick off some thematic offers in their digital store, perhaps taking advantage of the pull of the launch of Jedi Survivor. The fact is that, with this simple twist of the wrist, we are left with a quite appetizing repertoire of titles to choose from; some of them, authentic jewels.

If you visit the link above, you will find such powerful things as:

  • Star Wars Battlefront (2004) and Battle Front II (2005) to 3.27 and 3.49 euros respectively. The sequel is still being played even to this day, even though not everyone is online via Steam.
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR 2 The Sith Lords, both for 3.49 euros. You need some mods to make it look decent, but we are talking about true references of the RPG genre. For many, they are also the best games in the series to date.
  • Star Wars: Empire at War – Gold Pack for 6.99 euros. It’s not as heavily discounted as the ones above and it’s not as high-profile, but if you like strategy, this is a hidden gem with a 97% approval rating on Steam.
  • And you also have a few LEGO ones that are very cool. Don’t be fooled by appearances, they are truly held in esteem by the community. The most complete is The Skywalker Sagawhich may be a bit out of budget (23.99 euros) but it is an option to consider.

As a reminder, right now the sights are set on a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that our comrade Alejandro Pascual has scored well, but that on a technical level leaves much to be desired on PC. As of this writing, it’s 66% thumbs down on Valve’s platform, so it might be a good idea to wait for patches to arrive before grabbing it.
