Zelda Tears of the Kingdom players no longer attack Krogs, they have found a new victim!

The Krogs breathe a sigh of relief.

The life of the Krogs isn’t easy: in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, tormenting the poor creatures became a popular internet trend. Even Maronus’ voice actor has tried a torture method.

But now fans seem to have found a new victim. The NPC drives many players insane with his inability and therefore becomes the new victim.

This Zelda NPC makes fans mad

The new victim is Birkda. This is the NPC we need to help put up signs. However, the players are so annoyed with him that they express their anger creatively and torment him.

For example, a fan doesn’t even bother to help Birkda and catapults his beloved shield into nirvana with a rocket:

Another player even goes one step further and tries to sizzle Birkda. He leaves an electrically conductive object at Birkda and waits until a thunderstorm comes up. The lightning then hits Birkda exactly, which he comments with a “Hot!” yelp:

Another fan tinkers with so many items on Birkda’s sEsports Extrasthat the Dumsda Company employee is about to collapse under the weight. And there are many more videos that show the creative ways in which players torture the poor NPC.

What did Birkda do?

We see poor Birkda in many places in Hyrule. He has been given the tedious job of advertising the Dumsda construction company and putting up billboards for it.

But the NPC is hopelessly overwhelmed with the task and needs our help. We need to build structures around the signs so they don’t fall over and Birkda can fix them.

However, the uneven terrain and gravity in the game often throw a spanner in the works: the sEsports Extrasfalls over and we have to start over. The built construct remains, but it is no longer directly on the shield and must be repositioned or expanded.

After several attempts, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fans probably won’t let it sit and take their displeasure out on Birkda. However, his advantage over the Krogs is that he cannot be moved himself. Such luck for him!
