WB Games reveals date for Peacemaker in Mortal Kombat 1

A “New Era” is about to begin. Common post on social media, WB Games revealed the arrival date of Peacemaker in Mortal Kombat 1. The famous hero, from the HBO TV series, will enter the world's deadliest tournament on February 28th. At the same time, a new season of the game should begin – details will be revealed in the coming days.

Peacemaker is preparing for its arrival in a New Era. Early Access will be released on February 28th, along with the arrival of a new season around the same time. Details of both will come later this month.

Launched in September for 2023, bringing a proposal to “rediscover” several classic characters in its Story Mode, which has already had a sequel confirmed by its legendary producer Ed Boon, the game has guest fighters as one of its greatest attractions.

Peacemaker in Mortal Kombat 1, for example, has been highly anticipated. In addition to him, names like Homelander, Ermac and Takeda Takahashi are also expected in future DLCs.

The CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, confirmed to Variety that the title surpassed the 3 million copies sold mark. And it's worth remembering that, according to the franchise's creator, Ed Boon, support for Mortal Kombat 1 will be even sooner than that offered for MK11. Thus, players can expect the debut of more fighters and content, as has already been done in the months following the launch.
